Obituary ~ Samuel Herron IV

| Herron, Samuel IV Age 63 of Mpls went to live with his heavenly family on September 26, 2011. Sam was born on January 13, 1948. He is survived by his wife Jean of 41 years; sons, Samuel Gayle (Reecha), Bryan, Mychal; and grandson, Bryan Jr; parents, Samuel Herron III and Geraldine Evans; sisters, Gigi, Mary, Nina (Chester), Cynitha (Nate), Seletha (Eddie) and Ernestine; and brothers, Terry and Tony, and step father, Walter Evans. Preceded in death by sister, Deloris, brother, Arthur, and stepmother Tina Herron. Sam graduated from North High School in 1966 and attended UND where he played college football. He was a long time employee of Minnegasco. He was a member of the Richfield Jaycees, participated in Indian Guides with his sons, and served on the board of United Way through Minnegasco. The family thanks the medical staff of Abbott Northwestern Cardiac Care Units for the exemplary care that Sam received. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association . Visitation will be Friday September 30th from 5-8 PM at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave. Memorial service will be held October 1st at 11 AM at Living Spirit UMC, 4501 Bloomington Ave.
