In Memory of

Ivy Lee Quist

                                                           Guest Book

January 04, 2007
I want to express my deepest sympathy to Ivy's family. I have read the other guest notes and I see she never changed. I knew Ivy back in the early 1970's. At that time I think she had only 2 small girls who were so cute just like Ivy. She was always with books and going to school, I really admired that because she always had time for her friends, her children and everything, I don't know how she did it. She was alot of fun and I do remember her caring.

I knew her in the Suzy Waldo, Dave Karja days. Maybe someone will remember. I am glad to know she has a loving family who will keep her memory alive.
Thanx Ivy for you.
I was going to do this sooner, but I was dealing with my mother who also had cancer and has passed. I know exactly the heartbreak and loneliness you have.

Goodbye Sis, I will miss our telephone conversations and your blunt, honest, to the point perspective on life. Thank you for the genuine interest you had for my wife and sons - your concern and love for them always came through. Thanks for never giving up - Thank you for all that you accomplished and for making mom and dad proud. Thank you for the three wonderful women you have left behind for the rest of us to love and enjoy and be grateful for and to be proud of. What a remarkably, successful life you have lived. I love you, Scott

Jo, Becky, Jacki and all family of Ivy: We are very sorry to hear of Ivy's passing. You all have our deepest sympathies and prayers. I am grateful to have had an opportunity to see her at the family re-union. She put up quite a fight in her struggle with cancer and now she can rest in peace.

I will always miss my mom. I love her very much and just want to say, on her behalf. "Go, Vikes!" I would also like to thank all who attended, sent cards/flowers, and/or signed this guest book. Thank you so much for all your support. Everybody loved you, mom. Love, Becky

Ivy. She's my mom. I can't say much more...because "my mom" says it all. I love her and I will miss her more than any words can express. She helped me become the giving person that I am today. She helped me become the silent, affectionate, loving, giving person that I know I am. Ivy (my mom) gave me the maccabe (sp?) sense of humor that I have. Most importantly, Ivy Lee Quist (Kosnopfal), gave me her gift of giving. I will forever cherish my mother and her unending gift of self-less giving. I love you, mom. Jo

Ivy and I were friends for 35 years. Although there were times we lost touch when we reconnected we would pick up like no time had passed. Ivy raised three beautiful daughters. Times weren't easy for her but she just kept going forward. God Bless her! My sympathies for her family, Ivy will be truely missed. God Bless and God be with Ivy's family and friends.
With Love,

To the family of Ivy,
Although it has been many years since I last saw Ivy, she and I were close friends in the 70 and 80,s. I spent many days at her house with my son Brad. Years later my path crossed with her sister Sue. We never know how small this world is. My prayers are with you all at this most difficult time...Kathy Baker (Howard)
