Obituary

DAN T. RUGGLES WOLF

July 30, 2020

AKKERMAN INGEBRAND FUNERAL HOME – MORA

Danny “Dan” Ruggles Wolf, of Brook Park, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at his home.  He was 68 years old.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

I know my Dad is looking down at us smiling at us while we honor him and share our Love for him. To me he was the best man I ever knew. Sometimes he was a little over protective but I know his love is strong.

He was passionate about his family and everything he put his hands to. He was a man of dreams and visions, if he believed in something he wouldn’t let anything or anybody stand in his way. He taught us how to work hard and never give up fighting for what we believe in. He taught us right from wrong. He lived a full life with many experiences and was a very smart man!

There was nothing he couldn’t do except read very well. Growing up he never stopped telling us kids how much he loved us. No matter if he was working on something or mad about something (which was kinda often). Even if it was just him driving us in the car, he would always say “I love you” to us and he meant it.

He taught me how to drive, that’s why my brother Cory tells me I’m a bad driver. But that’s not true I’m a great driver! Thanks Dad! He loved his Harley and had many stories of his riding days and in those crazy and cool stories he mentioned a few cool nick names of his buddies like Rabbi, Tank, Rebel, and few others.

My Dad was one cool dude. My Dad was also a strong believer in Jesus. He would give whatever he had to help someone in need, unless they were just being stupid, he wasn’t a push over, like the time when he was doing his Ministry work he had running called “The Lords Ministry of Helps”, he donated a wash machine to someone so they could wash their clothes, and when he was finished installing it, they asked for a dishwasher, he had two and Dad just straight up told them “no you don’t need a dishwasher you can wash them dishes, I will give that to someone who needs it.” He was full of love, he was strong, passionate, full of faith, sincere and on fire for God! I’m going to strongly miss him as we all will. I already miss him!

He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a wonderful friend. He was even a wonderful ex-husband. He never gave up on anybody in his life.

To Dad: We all love you Dad and we miss you! You will always be my hero, that will never change! God loved you and you loved him! Now you are at home with him looking at and talking to each other face to face. We will see you again, and I’m looking forward to seeing you again! Thank you Dad!

And to my family and friends that are gathered here today: Luke 1:37 KJV says “For with God nothing shall be impossible” If we as a family, including friends, can put our trust in God we can and will ride this ride called life. You have to take the good with the bad, smile when you’re sad. Love what and who you got, and remember what and who you had. Always forgive but never forget. Learn from your mistakes but never regret. People change and things go wrong but they also get better. There may be more hard times on the way but the best days of our lives are yet to come! Just always remember this ride will go on. I love y’all and I love and miss you Dad.

-Travis

My heart goes out to the family. I met Dan at the Anoka County Fair when he had the pony rides and petting zoo. My son Joe would help him out. He was always so fun to be around and a good listener.
He showed such Love to his boys.
Prayers for healing.

Dan was a very caring and thoughtful man. He did so much for so many people putting others before himself. He will have many jewels to lay at Jesus’ feet. He will surely be missed.
