In Memory: Stanley G. "Doc" Chapman
Doc Chapman passed away quietly at 1630 hours, 22 Feb 2001, after a long struggle with a rare form of cancer. He served in Vietnam with both 1st Recon Bn. and 1st Force Recon Company between 1967 and 1969 as an HM-8492, Special Operations Technician, HM1(DV/PJ). Among his many decorations are the Navy-Marine Corps Medal for Heroism, Bronze Star with Combat "V", Navy Commendation Medal with Combat "V", Purple Heart and Combat Action Ribbon. He was FRA Life Member #0487. Doc Chapman will be sorely missed and he will never be forgotten.
